Compare programs

This jet card comparison sets out the published terms of the programs sold by 13 providers: entry minimums, rates where published, fees, availability, cancellation and exit terms. Every term carries a source label and date. There is no overall ranking, and safety is not compared. For the basics, see how jet cards work.

Providers with too little published information to compare

These providers sell a card or membership, but we found too few of their terms in their public materials to compare them; see each provider’s own site.

  • Airshare — Airshare Jet Card (EMBARK Jet Card). Open to new buyers (flyairshare.com, September 25, 2026) Provider-stated. Terms: Not published (checked September 26, 2026)
  • Flexjet — Flexjet 25™ Jet Card (U.S.), Flexjet Jet Card (Europe). Open to new buyers (flexjet.com, September 25, 2026) Provider-stated. Terms: Not published (checked September 26, 2026)
  • Priester Aviation — 1945 Card. Sales reported limited for new buyers (priesterav.com, September 25, 2026) Primary source. Terms: Not published (checked September 25, 2026)

Programs no longer sold

  • Jet.AI (formerly Jet Token) — Jet.AI Jet Card (formerly Jet Token), discontinued at Jet.AI; business sold to flyExclusive 2026-07-13: Closed to new buyers (SEC, September 25, 2026) Primary source
  • Volato — Volato Jet Card and Volato Insider (discontinued): Closed to new buyers. Volato's 10-Q filed 2026-08-14 states that in the fourth quarter of 2024 it transferred its aircraft lease agreements to flyExclusive and has no further obligations under them or control over flight operations, and that it has retained insider card liabilities of $0.1 million as of June 30, 2026. How to use the jet card comparison

The table works without JavaScript; the tool adds:

  • Filter by category, budget, region, availability, peak days, cancellation, features, operating model and more; budget bands use published rates only.
  • Sort by rate, entry minimum, lead time, peak days or name; the default is A to Z, never a hidden "recommended" order.
  • Compare up to four programs side by side.
  • Copy link to share your view; the link itself carries your settings.

The guided shortlist

Six optional questions return up to three programs whose published terms best match your answers, showing the weights and reasoning but no match score. Missing data never counts as zero. Each shortlist states:

"This shortlist is PJReviews' editorial guidance, calculated from the program terms shown and the weights you chose. It is not financial, legal or tax advice and not an endorsement of any provider. Terms change: confirm everything, including who operates your flights, with the provider before you buy."

How to read the labels

  • Primary source: program terms, a rate card or FAQ, a regulator record or a securities filing.
  • Provider-stated: the provider's own marketing pages, with no governing document found.
  • Reported by [source], [date]: trade press or an analyst, named.
  • Estimate: a PJReviews calculation, with its inputs shown.
  • Not published: not found in the provider's public materials on the date shown, which says nothing about whether it is offered.

"Guaranteed" always appears with its conditions, such as excluded peak days (high-demand dates with stricter terms) or a minimum lead time (notice before departure).

Terms criteria: what the 0–3 scores mean

Seven criteria, each scored 0 to 3, describe a program's published terms: pricing transparency, cost predictability, availability terms, cancellation flexibility, commitment and exit, coverage, and program flexibility. Each is computed mechanically against a public rubric and shows the term it came from.

A criterion missing any primary-source or provider-stated input shows "—" (except pricing transparency, which scores 0 when we find no published rates), and the program reads "scored on n of 7". There is no overall ranking and no total. No sort or filter uses the scores; only the guided shortlist does, weighting them as you choose. Scores describe terms, not the company, and they say nothing about safety or service quality.

Weigh them by how you fly: a coverage 3 rather than 2 means little if you never fly abroad.

What this comparison does not compare

  • Safety. PJReviews has not audited or assessed the safety of any operator or program. The side-by-side "Safety audits and certificates" row is identical for every provider: a link to the page quoting its dated statements. There is no safety filter, sort, badge or count.
  • Reputation. Press and public-record items appear on provider pages and are never compared or scored.
  • Service quality. Not measured; the comparison holds no customer ratings.

Data notes: rates and sales status

Of the 13 providers compared, 4 publish card or membership hourly rates (listed below); for the rest we found none. Rates reported only by trade press would show separately, never in sorts, filters or scores.

Sales status notes:

  • NetJets: SherpaReport reported on 6 August 2026 that NetJets "has paused all new sales of its 25-hour jet cards and its 25-hour per year leases". NetJets' own card and pricing pages, checked 25 September 2026, do not mention a change.
  • PlaneSense: its card page shows the PC-12 card "Sold Out" and the PC-24 card available (Provider-stated, 2026-09-25).

Editorial view

PJReviews’ opinion, written from the labelled facts on this page.

Read this comparison for its gaps: for 10 of the 17 providers in our data we found no published cancellation terms. Treat each "Not published" as a question for the provider, not as a "no".

What to confirm before you buy

  • The current agreement and rate card, checked against the terms shown here.
  • Whether the rate includes fuel and the 7.5% federal excise tax on taxable air transportation, and how daily minimums (the least time billed per flight day) and taxi time are charged.
  • What "guaranteed" depends on (the peak-day calendar for your purchase year and lead times), and cancellation terms on and off peak.
  • Who operates your flights. An air charter broker (a company arranging charters on aircraft another carrier operates) must name the carrier in operational control before you contract for a flight or series of flights (14 CFR 295.24).
  • Whether unused funds expire or are refundable, and how prepaid funds are protected.

Questions

Who has the best jet card program?

No single program is best, and this comparison has no overall ranking: the right card depends on your hours, routes and peak-day travel. See our editorial picks by use case.

How do I compare jet cards?

Within one aircraft category: entry minimums and published rates first, then what each rate leaves out (tax, fuel, fees, daily minimums), then availability, cancellation and refund terms. The cost calculator estimates effective hourly cost.

Which jet cards publish their rates?

As checked on 4 October 2026, 4 of the 13 providers we compare do, all Provider-stated:

  • Fly Alliance: category rates for its Jet Card Membership and The Reserve.
  • Magellan Jets: "starting at" 25-hour rates by card and cabin category; we hold its 50- and 100-hour rates because its pages disagree.
  • Sentient Jet: base rates for its SJ25 (light) and SJ25+ (super-midsize, large-cabin) cards.
  • Wheels Up: fixed and dynamic Signature Membership rates for light and super-midsize jets.

How often is this comparison updated?

We intend to review monthly and to record data changes in the update log; each page shows its "Data last reviewed" date.
