Paramount Jet Card: How It Works, What It Costs and Who It Fits

Provider terms

The Paramount Jet Card is a deposit account with no published hourly rate: its FAQ says members pay “actual operator cost + a fixed management fee” (Primary source). Four tiers set minimum deposits from $100,000 to $1,000,000, with a management rate from 16% down to 10% or a dollar minimum, whichever is higher (Provider-stated, 2026-09-25).

How the Paramount Jet Card works

The tiers differ only in deposit, management rate and credits (Provider-stated, 2026-09-25; amounts marked “USD/EUR/GBP/CAD”):

TierMinimum depositManagement rate, whichever is higherPerks/credits, as labelled
Emerald$100,00016% or $1,600None listed
Gold$250,00014% or $1,400$250 “(Super Mid, / Large Jets)”
Platinum$500,00012% or $1,200$500 “(Super Mid, / Large Jets)”
Black$1,000,00010% or $1,000$1,000 “(Super Mid, / Large Jets)”

You deposit funds and request a flight; Paramount says it then provides “an all-inclusive quote showing the exact aircraft cost + our fixed fee”, and the cost is withdrawn from your balance when you approve the trip (Provider-stated). The page adds: “Top up your card whenever you like — deposits never expire” (Provider-stated). Any aircraft category can be booked trip by trip, from turboprops and light jets to large-cabin and long-range jets, with no locked-in fleet (Primary source).

Paramount’s own disclosure states: “Paramount Business Jets (PBJ) acts as Agent for Client in the marketplace and does not operate or own aircraft. All flights are carried out by FAA and DOT or equivalent foreign authority approved aircraft operators.” (Provider-stated, retrieved 2026-09-25)

What the Paramount Jet Card costs

There is no rate card to compare. Paramount uses dynamic pricing, where a price is set for each trip at booking, and its FAQ says you pay “actual operator cost + a fixed management fee” (Primary source). The page adds: “Our jet charter prices are fully inclusive, covering every cost and charge. Member confirmation is required before incurring any additional costs.” (Provider-stated)

The management rate is a percentage or a dollar minimum, “whichever is higher”. Estimate from the tier table: at every tier the two meet at $10,000 (16% × $10,000 = $1,600; 14% × $10,000 = $1,400; 12% × $10,000 = $1,200; 10% × $10,000 = $1,000), so on any amount under $10,000 the dollar minimum is the larger charge. Paramount says every quote shows the management fee; whether a trip with several legs carries one fee or one per leg is not confirmed (checked 2026-09-25).

The page states the program has “no initiation fees, monthly charges, cancellation fees, or expiration fees” (Provider-stated). Credits in the Gold to Black tiers carry the label “(Super Mid, / Large Jets)”, which the page does not explain (checked 2026-09-25).

Paramount’s published card terms do not itemise federal excise tax, taxi time, repositioning (flying an empty aircraft to or from your trip), de-icing or international fees beyond calling prices “fully inclusive” (checked 2026-09-25), so check what each quote includes before you approve it. Because pricing is dynamic, our cost calculator computes no estimate for Paramount and lists it under variable pricing.

Availability, notice and cancellation

We did not find an availability guarantee in Paramount’s public materials (checked 2026-09-25). Its FAQ states: “No blackout dates, no peak-day surcharges, and no usage limitations.” (Primary source). Peak days are dates a seller lists as high-demand, when surcharges, notice or cancellation terms can be stricter.

Standard booking notice: not confirmed (checked 2026-09-25). Paramount states the program itself has no cancellation fees; the operator’s cancellation terms for each trip are not published (Provider-stated; checked 2026-09-25). See what cancellation policies mean.

Members get a dedicated private aviation advisor and 24-hour support (Provider-stated).

Coverage and aircraft

Paramount says it offers charters “to virtually any destination in the world” (Provider-stated), with advisors serving North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Its category list runs from turboprops such as the Pilatus PC-12 to VIP airliners such as the Boeing Business Jet; example types for each are in the fact panel above.

Its general FAQ says: “The majority of the operators and aircraft owners allow pets onboard. In some cases, a small cleaning fee may apply.” Documentation and vaccination records are required (Primary source).

For flight departments, Corporate Charter Flight Solutions “blends the elements of Paramount Business Jets’ tiered Jet Cards membership plan” (Provider-stated). Guest use and app booking are not published (checked 2026-09-25).

Financial safeguards

The FAQ states: “Yes. Your remaining balance is fully refundable under your membership agreement.” (Primary source). Ask for that agreement before you deposit.

The same page says deposits “are safeguarded in a dedicated non-operational bank account and utilized only on a per-trip basis” (Provider-stated). It does not name the account holder or any escrow agent (checked 2026-09-25); escrow means holding a deposit apart from the seller’s operating money. Parent company: not confirmed (checked 2026-09-25). See how to evaluate financial safeguards.

What Paramount Business Jets states about audits and who operates its flights

PJReviews has not audited or assessed the safety of any operator or program. These are Paramount Business Jets' own statements, quoted word for word with the date we read them, and the operator records we found.

Audit and registration statements

  • “Paramount Business Jets is an ARGUS Certified Broker, a distinction ARGUS extends only to brokers who pass its own independent review — separate from the ARGUS ratings we already require of every operator we use.”

    — Private Jet Safety, read September 25, 2026

  • “Paramount Business Jets is also a Wyvern Wingman Broker.”

    — Private Jet Safety, read September 25, 2026

  • “We run ARGUS TripCHEQ and Wyvern PASS reviews on a per-flight basis, so the aircraft and crew assigned to your trip are checked against current data, not last year's file.”

    — Private Jet Safety, read September 25, 2026

Who operates the flights

  • According to Paramount's card page, it 'does not operate or own aircraft' (Provider-stated, 2026-09-25); the operating carrier is not named on its public pages (checked 2026-09-25).

Editorial view: who it fits

PJReviews’ opinion, written from the labelled facts on this page.

Read from the published terms, the Paramount Jet Card suits:

  • flyers who want a balance the FAQ calls fully refundable under the membership agreement, with deposits that never expire and no initiation or monthly fees;
  • buyers who want the management fee published as a percentage or dollar minimum for each tier;
  • flyers who use different aircraft sizes, from turboprops to long-range jets, trip by trip.

It suits less well buyers who want a fixed hourly rate for budgeting or a published availability guarantee. See jet card or on-demand charter.

The Paramount Jet Card works more like a pre-funded charter account with a published management fee than a fixed-rate jet card. What it does publish is specific: the fee schedule by tier, a balance its FAQ calls fully refundable under the membership agreement, deposits that never expire, no program-level blackout dates or peak-day surcharges, and a stated dedicated account (Primary source and Provider-stated, 2026-09-25).

The trade-off is certainty. Each trip costs the operator’s price at the time plus the management fee, peak days included; we found no availability guarantee; and operator-level charges are not itemised and operator cancellation terms are not published (checked 2026-09-25). Ask for sample quotes on your own routes and dates, then set them against fixed-rate programs on our comparison.

Not confirmed

We did not find these terms in Paramount Business Jets' public materials, or could not confirm them, as of September 25, 2026. That says nothing either way; ask the provider.

  • Paramount Jet Card (Emerald, Gold, Platinum, Black tiers): term, round-trip discount, guaranteed availability, standard booking notice, peak-day booking notice, peak days, cancellation (peak days), guest use, parent company

What to confirm before you buy

  • The membership agreement: how and when a refund is paid, and whether anything is deducted from the balance.
  • Whether a trip with several legs is one quote with one management fee, or whether the fee and its dollar minimum apply to each leg.
  • The minimum notice for jet card bookings, and whether any availability commitment applies on peak days.
  • What happens if the aircraft on a booked trip cannot fly, and who pays any difference for a replacement.
  • On each quote: federal excise tax, taxi time, repositioning, de-icing, international fees and the operator’s cancellation terms.
  • Who holds the dedicated deposit account, and whether it is an escrow arrangement held for your benefit.
  • Which operator will fly each trip, and whether the quote names it before you approve.
  • What the credits labelled “(Super Mid, / Large Jets)” cover.
