Virginia-based private jet charter broker with on-demand charter and a jet card
Paramount Business Jets (PBJ) is a private aviation charter broker in northern Virginia, founded in 2005 by Richard Zaher, who leads the company. Trade press places it in Leesburg; the listing on file gives Ashburn.
PBJ states that it acts as an agent for its clients and does not own or operate aircraft. It arranges flights with third-party operators and says it has access to more than 4,000 aircraft worldwide. For US flights it says it applies ARGUS Gold minimums, and it describes itself as an ARGUS certified broker and a Wyvern Wingman broker.
Its main product is on-demand private jet charter, alongside empty-leg flights and a prepaid jet card. It also lists group charter for sports teams and music tours, VIP airliner charter, helicopter rental, precious cargo flights, medical flights and concierge support.
In a 2022 AIN report, the company said it topped $35 million in sales in 2021, averaging over 100 bookings a month. Comparison site Private Jet Card Comparisons describes its jet card as using dynamic pricing with a fixed markup.
Because PBJ is a broker, the operator, aircraft and certificate change from trip to trip, so flyers should confirm those details on each quote.
