Business jet management, charter and Part 145 maintenance in Hong Kong
Jet Aviation Hong Kong is the Hong Kong arm of Jet Aviation, the international business aviation services group. The company says it has offered aircraft management in Hong Kong since 2001, when it obtained a local air operator's certificate to support a single business jet owner.
The Hong Kong operation covers three areas: aircraft management, charter of managed aircraft, and maintenance. Charter flights are flown on business jets the company manages for their owners, so availability and aircraft types depend on the managed fleet at any given time.
Its maintenance facility is described as a Part 145 maintenance organisation. Work listed includes scheduled checks, line maintenance, pre- and post-flight inspections, interior repair, engine and APU work, and avionics installation and upgrades, with support for Bombardier, Dassault and Gulfstream aircraft. Trade reports say the line maintenance capability was added in 2008.
At its 20th anniversary in 2021, Jet Aviation reported a regional management and charter team of about 40 people managing 35 aircraft, with close to 80 flight crew across ten Asia-Pacific countries. Those figures are from 2021 and may have changed.
The office phone and listing address place the company in Harbour City, Tsim Sha Tsui, while aircraft operations are tied to Hong Kong's main airport. The operation suits owners of large-cabin business jets seeking management in Asia and travellers looking to charter an owner-managed jet from Hong Kong.
