Hong Kong business jet charter and aircraft management with an Aruba AOC
Aegle Aviation is a business jet charter and aircraft management company with its Asian branch based at Hong Kong International Airport. Aviation press reports describe it as founded in 2013 as an aircraft management company and as part of the Global Wings group.
The company offers charter flights and management of jets for owners. Its subsidiary Aegle Aviation (Aruba) holds an Aruban air operator certificate, which ch-aviation reported in July 2018, and operates aircraft from Aruba.
In November 2024 ch-aviation counted seven aircraft across the Asian branch and the Aruba unit: a Citation CJ4 Gen2, a Gulfstream G550, a Gulfstream G650ER, a Bombardier Global 6000, a Global Express XRS, a Hawker 850XP and an Embraer Legacy 600, the last of these based at Jakarta Halim. Fleet counts differ between reports, and a managed jet's availability for charter depends on its owner.
Aegle's website displays an IS-BAO Stage 2 award and membership of NBAA and the Asian Business Aviation Association. Flyers should confirm which certificate and registry a given aircraft operates under.
