White Turf St. Moritz 2027 dates and race-day schedule

When is White Turf 2027? The program and ticket pages list the racing days as February 7, 14 and 21. The homepage also lists White Turf Family Days on the Saturdays, February 6, 13 and 20, but the Family Days page names only February 13 and 20, so check the official site if you plan to attend a Saturday. Each racing day opens at 10:30am and ends at 4:30pm, according to the ticket page. The 2027 program includes the 86th Grand Prix of St. Moritz, and a Prix d'Honneur raffle follows each final race.

The organizer's racing days page gives the scale: a lake of 765,000 square meters, ice 40 to 80 cm thick, an event area of 130,000 square meters with a tent city, and a skikjöring course of 2,700 m, in which skiers are towed behind galloping horses. The homepage says more than 35,000 visitors attend.

White Turf tickets and VIP lounges

Tickets for White Turf 2027 are sold through Ticketcorner, linked from the official ticket page. Prices are per person per race day, including VAT. Standing tickets include a race card, a betting voucher and entry to the tent city, and children under 16 go free. A standing area on the inner oval is limited to 100 places. Grandstand seats come in categories A1 and A2, both numbered, and B.

The VIP packages page lists two options. The White Turf Lounge is heated and includes finger food, drinks other than champagne and spirits, the VIP terrace at the track and an unnumbered seat in Grandstand B. The GAMMA Lounge adds reservable tables for eight or ten, a buffet and live cooking, and a Laurent-Perrier champagne bar. VIP prices rise for bookings made from December 21, 2026.

What to wear to White Turf

The organizer does not publish a dress code on the pages we checked. Racing takes place outdoors on a frozen lake in February, so plan for snow and cold underfoot, with the heated lounges as the indoor option for VIP guests.

Flying private to St. Moritz for White Turf

The nearest airport is Engadin Airport St. Moritz-Samedan (LSZS), the regional airport for the Engadine valley. Its operating hours page says the airport is open 365 days a year; in winter it operates from 08:00 local time until the end of evening twilight, and customs clearance is available without restriction during those hours. Racing ends at 4:30pm, so a same-day departure has a short window before the airport closes.

On the ground, the organizer's getting here page points drivers to the Serletta car park opposite the main entrance to the lake, with a shuttle bus every 10 minutes from the Isola car park. It also notes that the Rhaetian Railway reaches St. Moritz from Zurich in about three hours. We covered the same airport for the January tournament on the lake in our Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz 2027 guide. For a longer flight, operators in Geneva are another option; see How to Choose a Private Jet Departure Airport Near a Major City.

What to confirm with your provider

  • Can the crew operate into Samedan, and have they completed any briefing the airport requires?
  • If you plan to leave on race day, does a departure after 4:30pm fit before the end of evening twilight on that date?
  • Which alternate airport is planned if weather prevents a Samedan arrival, and how would you reach St. Moritz from there?
  • Will the aircraft stay at Samedan between race Sundays, or reposition?
  • Who arranges handling, customs and the car transfer to the lake?
  • What happens to the booking if a race day is changed or cancelled?

Program, tickets and VIP packages are on the official White Turf St. Moritz site. Compare private jet providers on PJReviews.com before you book.
