Royal Ascot 2027 runs for five days, Tuesday, June 15, to Saturday, June 19, at Ascot Racecourse in Berkshire, west of London. If you are flying private, the first planning question is the Royal Ascot nearest airport: two business aviation airfields in Hampshire, Farnborough and Blackbushe, sit within driving distance of the course, and the racecourse itself points to a helicopter landing facility nearby.

  • Dates: Tuesday, June 15, to Saturday, June 19, 2027
  • Venue: Ascot Racecourse, High Street, Ascot, Berkshire SL5 7JX
  • Public enclosures: Windsor Enclosure from £30 and Queen Anne Enclosure from £95, per the racecourse
  • Royal Enclosure: open only to Members and their guests

Royal Ascot 2027 dates and tickets

The racecourse's Royal Ascot page lists the 2027 meeting as 15 to 19 June, with tickets on sale for each of the five days. Is Royal Ascot open to the public? Yes. The racecourse sells tickets to two public enclosures: the Windsor Enclosure, which it describes as having "no formal Dress Code" and allowing picnics under its policy, from £30, and the Queen Anne Enclosure, which it calls its "premier public enclosure," with Grandstand access and Parade Ring viewing, from £95. The Royal Enclosure is reserved for Members and their guests, and the page says Members can book badges "from January onwards."

How to get Royal Ascot tickets: buy them from the official ticket links on ascot.com, which also list Royal Ascot 2027 hospitality and premium experiences. Which is the best day depends on the races you want to see, so check the racecourse's guide to the races for each day's program before choosing.

Royal Ascot nearest airport: Farnborough and Blackbushe

Two business aviation airfields are worth discussing with your provider:

  • Farnborough Airport (EGLF) in Hampshire calls itself "the largest and the most pre-eminent business aviation airport in the UK," within easy reach of London.
  • Blackbushe Airport (EGLK), also in Hampshire, lists business aviation services on its site, including an FBO and executive facilities, IFR procedures and published opening hours.

Neither airport publishes arrangements for race week, and this guide makes no claim about parking or handling on those dates. For more on the area, see our pages on Farnborough and Ascot.

Helicopter to Royal Ascot

The racecourse's travel page states that there is "a helicopter landing facility close to the racecourse" that is available on event and non-event days "(subject to permission)," and that it "is not suitable for fixed-wing aircraft." It names the Ascot and Royal Ascot Heliport, says the heliport is presented by Flexjet, and gives Fresh Air Ops as the contact for landing and charter. A helicopter shuttle from your arrival airfield is therefore an option to raise with your provider, along with who requests permission.

How to get to Royal Ascot from London

If part of your group is staying in London, the racecourse says South Western Railway runs to Ascot from London Waterloo with an average journey time of 52 minutes, and the station is a seven-minute walk from the course. By road, it says Ascot is close to the M3, M4, M40 and M25. The same page reminds visitors from non-visa countries that they now need an Electronic Travel Authorisation to travel to the UK.

Dress codes differ by enclosure; the racecourse says the Windsor Enclosure has none, so the rules for the others matter. Read the racecourse's Royal Ascot dress code page before you pack.

What to confirm with your provider

  • Which airport does the provider suggest for your aircraft, Farnborough, Blackbushe or another, and why?
  • Has parking been confirmed for the days you are racing, and will the aircraft stay or reposition?
  • If you want a helicopter leg to the Ascot heliport, who books it and obtains landing permission?
  • How long should the car transfer take to the racecourse at your arrival time, and where is the drop-off for your enclosure?
  • Do all passengers have the right UK entry documents, including an ETA where required?
  • How would a later return after the last race change the quote?
