Hahnenkamm 2027 dates and race schedule
When is the Hahnenkamm downhill? Saturday, January 23, 2027, at 11:30 local time. The program lists three downhill training sessions from Tuesday to Thursday, all at 11:30, alongside the LONGINES Future Hahnenkamm Champions junior races on the Ganslern on Wednesday. Evenings center on the finish area: on Friday and Saturday the program shows a public draw at 18:00, a public prize giving at 18:30 and a light show at 18:45. Saturday also brings the KITZ-CHARITY-Trophy at 14:00. The organizer marks the program "subject to change," with a status date of June 25, 2026.
Hahnenkamm tickets 2027 and VIP options
According to the spectator information page, general standing tickets are sold through the online ticket shop, while grandstand, special zone and group tickets go through a ticket request form. Admission is free on training days. There are no ticket sales on site, but if a race day has not sold out, standing tickets can still be bought online. Tickets can be returned up to ten days before the race day for a refund minus a 10% handling fee; after that, no refund is made. If a race is cancelled five or more days ahead, the ticket price is refunded automatically minus a 10% fee, and a cancellation four days or less before the race day brings no refund. Ask about VIP and hospitality tickets through the request form, since the organizer does not publish them as a standard ticket type.
The organizer's pages that we checked do not list hotels. If you are looking for a Kitzbühel hotel for Hahnenkamm week, book early and ask your hotel how guests reach the finish area on race days.
Getting to the finish area
The organizer sets up free parking at Oberndorf in Tirol (from the Salzburg and Munich side) and at Kirchberg in Tirol (from the Innsbruck side), with a free ÖBB "Hahnenkamm-Shuttle" train to Kitzbühel-Hahnenkamm station, about a two-minute walk from the finish area. The car parks at the Hahnenkammbahn cable car and the Ganslern close during race week. On downhill Saturday, the organizer advises parking in the large car parks by 09:00.
Airports near Kitzbühel
Salzburg Airport W. A. Mozart (SZG) publishes its operating hours: 06:00 to 23:00 for takeoffs and landings, with non-commercial landings from 06:00 to 22:00 and non-commercial takeoffs from 07:00 to 22:00. Aircraft from 3.5 tonnes maximum takeoff weight must use a handling service, and the airport's general aviation handling package includes help with passport and customs clearance. Innsbruck Airport (INN), Tyrol's airport, runs a General Aviation Center for private and business jet traffic; ask your operator to check its current operating hours and procedures for a weekend arrival. Munich is the other gateway the organizer names for drivers, and our Munich page lists operators based there.
For the airport choice itself, see How to Choose a Private Jet Departure Airport Near a Major City.
What to confirm with your provider
- Salzburg or Innsbruck: which airport fits your aircraft, your arrival day and each airport's current operating rules?
- How long is the road transfer to Kitzbühel in snow, and does your driver know the race-week car park closures?
- If you plan to fly out after the slalom on Sunday, does the schedule fit Salzburg's non-commercial takeoff hours, which end at 22:00?
- Who books handling, de-icing and customs clearance at the arrival airport?
- Which alternate airport is planned if weather closes your first choice?
- What are the terms if the race program changes and you want to move your flight?
The full program and ticket links are on the official Hahnenkamm Races site. For one-off trips see on-demand charter, and compare private jet providers on PJReviews.com before you book.
