Dubai World Cup 2027: Dates, Meydan and Flying Private

The Dubai World Cup 2027 dates come down to one night: Saturday, March 27, 2027, when the horse racing season in Dubai ends with its biggest night at Meydan Racecourse. The Dubai Racing Club lists the meeting in its race calendar and describes Meydan as home to "the US$ 30.5 million Dubai World Cup meeting held annually on the last Saturday of March."

Dubai World Cup 2027 dates: when is the race?

The club's calendar places Dubai World Cup day on March 27, 2027, at the end of the Meydan season. The meeting closes the Dubai Racing Carnival, which the club says "runs from November to March." The 2026 meeting was the 30th running, and the club reports that the $12 million feature race was won by Magnitude. Race times for 2027 had not been posted when we checked, so leave room in your arrival plan until the racecard is published.

Meydan Racecourse and what the day includes

Racing moved to Meydan in 2010. The club calls the venue "the world's largest integrated racing facility," with grandstand seating for more than 60,000 and The Meydan Hotel, with 285 rooms and suites, alongside it. The club also describes a closing ceremony and entertainment program after the racing. During race week in 2026 it ran The Morning Gallop, a 6:00am to 9:00am session in the Paddock Garden where guests could watch contenders train; check whether it returns for 2027.

Dubai World Cup tickets and hospitality

How much are Dubai World Cup tickets? The club had not published 2027 prices when we checked. For 2026 it issued a hospitality brochure covering its packages, and the homepage promotes "five-star hospitality" on race day. Expect the 2027 version closer to the meeting, and buy through the Dubai Racing Club or its named partners rather than unofficial resellers.

Dubai World Cup dress code: what to wear

The club treats fashion as part of the day and published a 2026 Millinery Look Book as guidance on hats and race-day style. It does not reproduce a formal written dress code on the pages we reviewed, and some hospitality areas may set their own rules, so check the terms of your ticket or package. Smart race-day dress, with hats common among guests, is the norm the club's own material reflects.

Which Dubai airport for private flights?

Dubai Airports owns and manages both of the city's international airports. Its corporate page says Dubai International (DXB) welcomed 95.2 million guests in 2025. The second airport, Dubai World Central, Al Maktoum International (DWC), is described on its own page as supporting "seasonal charter and scheduled operations in addition to cargo and general aviation." The same page notes that DWC opened to passengers in October 2013, with cargo operations from 2010.

Neither page addresses race week, and we make no claim about slots, parking or handling for March 27. Ask your provider which airport suits your aircraft and hotel, and how long the road transfer to Meydan will take on race evening. • Which airport, DXB or DWC, does the provider suggest for your aircraft, and why?
• Have arrival and departure times been secured for your dates, and how far ahead must they be requested?
• Where will the aircraft park while you are in Dubai, and will it reposition?
• How long should you allow for the transfer to Meydan before the first race, and back after the closing ceremony?
• Can a late-night departure after the racing be arranged, or should you plan to leave the next day?
• What are the change and cancellation terms if race times shift?
