Art Basel Hong Kong 2027 dates and VIP days

The organizer's visitor information page lists the 2027 dates and says "more information for the next edition of the fair will be published soon." That means opening hours and the preview schedule are not yet public. For reference only, Art Basel's 2026 closing report says last year's public days ran March 27 to 29, 2026, with preview days on March 25 and 26. Do not assume the 2027 preview days follow the same pattern; if you hold or expect a VIP invitation, confirm the preview dates with Art Basel or your gallery before you book flights.

Tickets and what the fair looks like

Tickets will be sold through Art Basel's Hong Kong ticket page, which for now invites visitors to sign up to be "first in line," and the fair publishes rules for visitors that apply on site. The 2026 report gives a sense of scale: the fair welcomed "91,500 visitors across the show," and representatives from more than 170 museums and foundations from 27 countries and territories attended. The 2027 exhibitor list had not been published when we checked. Families traveling together may note the Art Kids program, which the visitor page describes as "a fully supervised, educational guided tour programme for children aged 5-12." Check whether it runs in 2027 before you plan around it.

Is Art Basel Hong Kong worth it? For collectors, the case rests on the gallery list and on meeting dealers and institutions from across Asia in three days. Wait for the 2027 exhibitor announcement before you commit to dates, and treat the preview days as the main reason to arrive early.

How to get to Art Basel Hong Kong by private jet

Private flights into Hong Kong use Hong Kong International Airport at Chek Lap Kok, operated by the Airport Authority Hong Kong. Business aircraft are handled at the Hong Kong Business Aviation Centre (HKBAC), which lists its address as 10-12 South Perimeter Road at the airport and announced in May 2026 that its five-year expansion project was complete. From the airport, the HKCEC is on Hong Kong Island, so plan the ground transfer to Wan Chai around the time of day you land.

Neither the airport nor HKBAC pages address fair week, and we make no claim about slots, parking or handling during it. Hong Kong is a busy airport, so ask your provider early about arrival and departure times.
