Art Basel Qatar 2027: Dates, Access and Flying Private to Doha

The Art Basel Qatar 2027 dates are January 28 to 30, 2027, when the fair opens to the public at M7 and the Doha Design District in Msheireb Downtown Doha. Before that come two private days, January 26 and 27, which Art Basel lists as "by invitation only." This is the second edition: Art Basel says the fair "debuted in February 2026" at M7 and in the Doha Design District.

• Private days: Tuesday, January 26, and Wednesday, January 27, 2027, by invitation only
• Vernissage: Wednesday, January 27, 4pm to 8pm
• Public days: Thursday, January 28, to Saturday, January 30, 1pm to 9pm

Art Basel Qatar 2027 dates and opening hours

When is Art Basel Doha? The organizer's visitor page gives this schedule. On Tuesday, January 26, First Choice guests attend from 12pm to 8pm, and Preview guests from 4pm to 8pm. On Wednesday, January 27, First Choice and Preview run from 12pm to 8pm, with the Vernissage from 4pm to 8pm. On each public day, 12pm to 1pm is for VIP Card holders only, and 1pm to 9pm is open to ticket holders and VIP Card holders. Ticket holders choose either the 1pm to 5pm or the 5pm to 9pm admission slot.

Where is Art Basel Doha?

All three venues sit within Msheireb Downtown Doha. Art Basel lists M7 on Abdulla Bin Thani Street, Barahat Msheireb on Abdulla Bin Thani Street and the Doha Design District on Al Khail Street. Its visitor page also lists food and drink options around the three sites.

Tickets and the VIP preview

Tickets are sold through Art Basel's official ticket page, which links to the online ticket shop and says "Availability is limited." Tickets are personal, a valid ID may be requested, and a day ticket allows one entry to each show venue in your chosen admission period. The ticket page lists a Day Ticket at QAR 200 and a Vernissage First Access ticket at QAR 850, which covers the Vernissage on Wednesday, January 27, from 4pm to 8pm and all three public days from 1pm to 9pm. A Premium Discovery Pass at QAR 16,500 adds priority entry via the VIP entrance and access to selected events. Check current prices in the ticket shop before you book. The First Choice and Preview days remain by invitation, so if you are not on a gallery or VIP list, plan around the Vernissage pass or the public days. The organizer's pages that we checked do not list partner hotels, so book accommodation yourself or through your host.

Flying private to Doha

Hamad International Airport (DOH/OTHH) is Doha's international airport. Its website points visitors to Hayya for visa services and lists Al Maha Services among its options for premium travelers. Check visa needs for every passenger before you fly. If you plan to stay elsewhere in the Gulf, ask your provider to price daily round trips against a single stay in Doha. This guide makes no claim about business aviation handling or parking at the airport during fair week, so ask your provider which handler it uses and how long the transfer to Msheireb will take at your arrival time.

• If you hold a Vernissage pass or a preview invitation, does your arrival leave enough margin before Wednesday at 4pm?
• Will the aircraft stay in Doha through the fair, or reposition and return?
• What are the change and cancellation terms for the trip?
