Koç Holding's Istanbul air taxi operator flying Falcon jets and AW139 helicopters
Setair Hava Taşımacılığı ve Hizmetleri A.Ş. is the aviation company of Turkey's Koç Holding. It was set up in 1990 and has its offices in the private hangar area at Bakırköy, Istanbul.
Its core business is commercial air taxi operation. The company offers private jet, helicopter and seaplane flights, including transfers to airports, hotels and yachts, and says it follows ICAO, EASA, FAA and Turkish civil aviation (SHGM) rules.
The fleet list on its website includes a Dassault Falcon 8X, a Falcon 6X, a Cessna Citation Latitude, two Leonardo AW139 helicopters and a Cessna 208 Caravan seaplane. Industry outlet ch-aviation reported that Setair took delivery of the first Turkish-registered Falcon 6X (TC-MRK), joining two 14-seat Falcon 8X jets, an eight-seat Cessna 208B and two nine-seat AW139s.
Because aircraft are also used by the Koç group, flyers should confirm availability and current fleet before planning a trip. The mix of long-range jets, helicopters and a seaplane suits trips from Istanbul to regional coastal destinations as well as longer international flights.
