Merkur Jet Ucak Hizmetleri A.Ş.

Merkür Charter is the charter arm of Merkür Group, a Turkish aviation, cargo and tourism group. An aviation trade directory gives its address as Küçükçekmece, Istanbul, and its founding year as 2003; the company's own site cites about 20 years of experience. The listing's legal name, Merkur Jet Uçak Hizmetleri A.Ş., appears to be a group company, but this was not confirmed.

The company arranges several kinds of charter: business jets, helicopters, full passenger airliners for groups, and full cargo aircraft. Its group also includes a cargo business, Merkür Kargo.

It also offers ambulance jet charter, with medical equipment and staff chosen for each patient. The company says these flights are provided through licensed partners, so flyers should assume medical flights are run by third-party operators.

The site does not say whether Merkür operates aircraft under its own certificate or lists a named fleet, so it is described here as arranging flights with operators. Aviation Week has reported that the group also provides aircraft management. The site shows IATA, NBAA and ECAA logos without explaining them, so flyers should ask which operator and certificate apply to each trip.
