Istanbul FBO and ground handling partner of ExecuJet, with aircraft management
Bilen Havacılık, trading as Bilen Air Service, is a Turkish business aviation services company based in Istanbul. It is best known as the local partner in ExecuJet's Istanbul FBO operations.
ExecuJet's current listing for Istanbul Airport (LTFM/IST) in Arnavutköy describes its FBO service as offered in strategic cooperation with Bilen Air Service. The joint offering includes 24-hour service, customs and immigration assistance, passenger and crew transport, catering, fuel, permits and slots, hangarage and aircraft cleaning, with a passenger lounge and crew facilities.
A 2012 report in AIN described Bilen's FBO at the former Istanbul Atatürk Airport, which joined ExecuJet's network in 2011. At that time Bilen held management contracts for 14 business aircraft. It did not hold its own air operator's certificate, so the managed aircraft were operated by AOC holders and offered for charter when available.
Flyers looking at Bilen for charter should treat it as an arranger working with certificated operators rather than an operator in its own right, and should confirm its current management and charter activity directly, as the published fleet details date from 2012.
