CKD Aviation

CKD Aviation is a private aviation company in Istanbul, Turkey, presenting itself as a Turkish charter provider with international reach. The listing on file places it in the Bakırköy district.

Its website lists four main lines of business: air taxi flights, charters (including group charters), aircraft sales and aircraft management. It also describes flight support services such as catering, fuel arrangements at contracted airports, crew management, permits, overflight approvals, slots and airport handling.

A charter marketplace that lists CKD Aviation as a partner shows three Gulfstream jets linked to the company: two G-IVs (TC-IHY and TC-GLF) and a G-IVSP (TC-CKD), each listed with seating for up to 13 or 14 passengers. The Turkish TC- registrations are consistent with an Istanbul base. CKD's own site describes access to small, medium and large jets seating 5 to 19 passengers, which suggests it also sources aircraft beyond this fleet.

Neither source states which air operator certificate the flights run under, the founding year, or any safety audit ratings. Flyers should confirm the operating carrier and certificate for each trip, particularly where aircraft outside the Gulfstream fleet are used.
