Business aviation FBO and handling at Zurich Airport, part of the Jet Aviation group
Jet Aviation Zurich is the Zurich Airport location of Jet Aviation, a business aviation services group. The FBO is in the General Aviation Center in Kloten, roughly fifteen minutes from central Zurich. Jet Aviation says it has served customers in Zurich since 1969.
The site is mainly a ground handling and FBO operation. Listed services include domestic and international handling, ramp support, parking and hangarage, de-icing, Jet A-1 and Avgas 100LL fuel, aircraft cleaning and slot booking. Passengers clear immigration and customs on site, and the terminal has a lounge, conference rooms and a crew area with rest rooms, showers and flight planning facilities. Opening hours are 06:00 to 22:00 every day.
Jet Aviation says its Zurich FBO became the first in Switzerland to offer sustainable aviation fuel in 2020. The facility holds IS-BAH Stage 2 certification and belongs to the Air Elite Network.
In June 2021 Jet Aviation bought ExecuJet's Zurich FBO and hangar operations, adding a second terminal, two private ramps and two hangars. In the same deal it acquired Luxaviation's Swiss aircraft management and charter division, which added 17 aircraft to its European fleet.
Flyers can book handling, fuel and hangar space through the Zurich FBO. Charter and aircraft management are offered across the wider Jet Aviation group rather than being shown as Zurich-specific services.
