Private jet charter broker based in St Barth, with offices listed in Paris and Zurich
BIRDY Private Jets is the trading name of BIRDY.AERO, a private aviation charter agency founded by Sherkane de Haenen in Saint-Barthélemy. The company website lists offices in St Barth, Paris and Zurich, and this listing refers to its Zurich presence.
BIRDY is a broker, not an operator. Its website states that it does not operate aircraft and books flights with third-party operators for its clients. The founder told BlueSky Business Aviation News that the company owns no aircraft and can source whatever aircraft a trip needs.
Its main service is on-demand private jet charter, including Caribbean trips and flights for touring and event travel (the site calls these 'Backstage Flights'). The site also offers ticketing and can add car rentals and hotels to a booking. Requests are taken around the clock by phone, email and WhatsApp.
The St Barth office covers the Americas, and partners cover Europe and Africa, according to a 2025 BlueSky News profile. The website shows an NBAA membership logo. No safety audit ratings such as ARGUS or Wyvern were found for the company, which is expected for a broker; flyers should ask which operator and certificate will fly a given trip.
