Chapman Freeborn Airchartering (South Africa) is the South African arm of Chapman Freeborn, an air charter broker that has arranged charter flights since 1973. The group was acquired by Avia Solutions Group in October 2019 and kept its brands and structure. Its South African office, listed in Boksburg near O.R. Tambo International Airport, is one of the group's offices in the India, Middle East and Africa region alongside Dubai, Riyadh and Mumbai.

The company is a broker, not an airline: it states that it is not a direct air carrier and that flights are operated by licensed carriers. It arranges air cargo charters, group charters for crews, teams and large parties, and private jet charters. The wider group also arranges aircraft leasing on damp, wet and ACMI terms, flight support and an aviation emergency services offering.

Cargo is a large part of the South African business. Trade press reported the formal expansion into South Africa around 2009, citing Johannesburg's role as a cargo hub, and in 2026 reported the company arranging air freight of an engine stand to Johannesburg.

Because aircraft come from third-party operators, the aircraft type and operator vary by trip; flyers can ask for the operator's name and certificate when booking.
