Air charter for business travel in South Africa and neighbouring countries
Majestic Air is a South African air charter brand listed in Lichtenburg, North West Province. Its website says it is operated by Multimedia Entertainment Group Air (Pty) Ltd, trading as MEGA Air, an air charter and scheduled company established in 2004. The FAA's list of operator designators also gives 'Majestic Air' as the radio callsign of that company.
The business was set up by a businessman and commercial pilot who used light aircraft for his own travel, and its stated aim is to offer aircraft as a practical alternative to long car or train journeys. It points out that its aircraft can use smaller and rural airports that scheduled airlines do not serve.
Charter options on the website include business and corporate charter, group charter for incentive trips and events, VIP charter and travel to sporting events. Flights cover destinations within South Africa and neighbouring countries.
The office works Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:00, with a 24-hour phone line for flight requests. Quotes can be requested through the website form, by email or by phone, giving departure point, destination, dates and number of passengers.
