Part 135 business jet charter and aircraft management operator at Toluca, Mexico
Performance Air is a Mexican private aviation company with offices in Lomas de Santa Fe, Mexico City, and at Hangar 62 in the general aviation zone of Toluca International Airport (TLC). Its founder and CEO is Gerardo Aboumrad Chedraui.
The company holds a Part 135 air operator certificate and flies on-demand charters. It also manages aircraft for owners, advises on buying and selling aircraft, and lists owners' aircraft for sale. In 2025 it introduced a fractional scheme that splits one aircraft among four owners, who get a fixed monthly cost and priority access to the wider fleet.
None of the aircraft on its certificate belong to the company. They are privately owned, and Performance Air manages and operates them, offering them to charter clients when the owners are not flying. In April 2025, trade publication ch-aviation counted 18 aircraft and one helicopter. The fleet included Challenger 601 and 604, Global Express XRS, Gulfstream IV, Legacy 600, Hawker 400XP to 800XP, Learjet 31A to 60XR, Citation Bravo, Premier IA and Piaggio P.180 aircraft, plus an AW109 helicopter.
The company said it was aiming for about 22 jets and two helicopters by the end of 2025, and was considering a second base at Guadalajara. Its website describes it as part of a group with more than 15 years in private aviation and over 100 staff, with customer service around the clock.
