Tokyo Helicopter Private Charter is the helicopter section of A Wonderful Day (AWD). AWD is a Tokyo mobility service that runs on the giftlife.tokyo website. Besides helicopter flights, it rents supercars and luxury cars, offers driving experiences and books yacht cruises.
AWD lists four helicopter products: a sightseeing flight over Tokyo, a combined Tokyo and Mount Fuji sky cruise, a transfer between Narita Airport and Tokyo, and transfers to tourist destinations. The destinations named include the Mount Fuji area and the Amanemu resort. AWD says it can add car service between hotels and airports, so a trip can mix ground and air legs.
The helicopter pages do not name the aircraft types, the number of aircraft or the company that actually flies them. They also do not say whether AWD holds its own air operator certificate in Japan or books flights with a licensed helicopter operator. Flyers should ask which operator and aircraft will be used before booking.
