Call a Jet

Call a Jet is a private jet charter broker with an office at Katona József utca 6 in Budapest, Hungary, and a second office in Bonn, Germany. The company describes itself as a family business run by the Kurta family and says it has been arranging flights since 2008.

The company is explicit that it is not an airline or an aircraft operator. For each request it compares available operators and aircraft and books the flight with a third-party operator, so the aircraft, crew and operating certificate vary from trip to trip.

Its main service is on-demand private jet charter, including short-notice bookings. It also promotes a database of empty-leg flights, which are one-way repositioning legs that can be offered at lower prices, and says pets such as dogs can travel in the cabin.

Call a Jet states that it can draw on around 12,000 aircraft and handles roughly 1,000 flights a year. Flyers using a broker should ask for the name of the operating carrier and its air operator certificate before confirming a booking.
