Aircraft co-ownership, management and brokerage firm near Frankfurt, Germany
WeFly GmbH is a German aviation company based in Hanau, in the Rhine-Main area east of Frankfurt. It says it has supported aircraft and their owners since 2001 and is registered in the Hanau commercial register.
Its model is built around shared ownership: private owners take a share in an aircraft and WeFly handles the administrative and organisational side of operating it, including financing questions and rental of the aircraft under charter agreements. It also advises on buying and selling and brokers pre-owned aircraft.
The fleet it manages is focused on light general aviation aircraft. WeFly describes itself as the largest Diamond Aircraft operator in Europe, and Blackshape Aircraft appointed it as exclusive dealer for Germany, Austria and Switzerland from the start of 2023, covering sales and customer support.
The company also states that its flights are carbon-offset through a partnership with myclimate. Its activity is aimed mainly at owner-pilots and buyers of piston and light aircraft rather than passengers seeking jet charter.
