Jet and helicopter charter operator and aircraft manager based in Bamberg and Zurich
BHS Aviation GmbH is the German company of the BHS Aviation Group, which is headquartered in Bamberg, Bavaria, with a Swiss company, BHS Aviation AG, in Glattbrugg near Zurich. According to ch-aviation, the German company was founded in 2008 as BHS Helicopterservice and gained its own air operator certificate in 2020.
The group operates its own aircraft rather than brokering. Its website lists executive jet charter on a Cessna Citation Latitude, suited to trips of up to about 5,000 km, and helicopter charter on an AgustaWestland AW109SP for point-to-point flights that can land close to the final destination.
In mid-2026 the group moved all flying under the German AOC. The Latitude was re-registered from HB-VMS to D-CBHS, and the AW109 is German-registered. Under the new set-up, Bamberg handles aircraft management and flight operations control, while Zurich concentrates on charter for private and business clients.
Besides charter, BHS offers full-service management of owners' aircraft, including continuing airworthiness (CAMO) oversight, and ground handling and FBO services at Zurich Airport.
The operated fleet is small, so availability on specific dates may be limited; larger or longer trips would fall outside the Latitude's range.
