The Cannes Yachting Festival runs from Tuesday, September 7, to Sunday, September 12, 2027, across Cannes' Vieux Port and Port Canto on the French Riviera. When is the Cannes Yachting Festival? The organizer's plan your visit page lists 7 to 12 September 2027, with hours of 10:00 to 19:00 from Tuesday to Thursday, 10:00 to 22:00 on Friday, 10:00 to 19:00 on Saturday and 10:00 to 18:00 on Sunday. Its homepage cites 56,600 visitors, 680 exhibitors and 700 boats and yachts, figures from its most recent edition. The FAQ identifies the organizer as part of the RX France group, and the festival says it has supported the SNSM, France's national sea rescue society, for several years.

Where is the Cannes Yachting Festival held?

The festival is split between two harbors. The Vieux Port is in the town center, and the organizer lists Cannes SNCF station for visitors arriving by train. Port Canto, further along the Croisette, hosts areas the organizer lists as the Sailing Area and Powerboat marina and the Brokers and Toys Area. Complimentary RIBs and covered sea shuttles run between the two ports.

Cannes Yachting Festival tickets and VIP access

The visitor FAQ says e-tickets "may only be purchased from the online ticket office" and that there will be no ticket offices at the entrances. Entry is free for children up to 10 years old, and you can re-enter on the same day with your ticket. Only hand luggage up to 40 x 30 cm is allowed inside, so leave larger bags in the car or at the hotel. The FAQ, written for the 2026 edition, says professional tickets were valid on weekdays only, and notes that an advance e-ticket does not give priority access. For brokerage meetings or VIP access, ask your yacht broker or the exhibiting shipyard what passes they can arrange.

Flying into Cannes for the Yachting Festival

• Cannes-Mandelieu Airport (LFMD / CEQ) is the closest airfield to the ports. Its website describes it as France's second business aviation airport, and invites pilots to complete a "Mandatory Briefing LFMD" before landing.
• Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (LFMN / NCE) has a dedicated Business Aviation Terminal, according to its operator, and a heliport with 14 helicopter stands.

The organizer's travel information points visitors arriving by air to Nice and lists Bus Line 81 to central Cannes, a taxi service whose driver can meet you on arrival and reach the festival venues "within 30 minutes," as well as helicopter transfers from Nice and Cannes "throughout the Festival" by Green Bees Helico. What to confirm with your provider

• Can your aircraft use Cannes-Mandelieu, and has the crew completed the LFMD briefing, or is Nice the better arrival airport?
• Has parking been confirmed for your dates, and will the aircraft stay or reposition?
• How long is the transfer from the airport to the Vieux Port or Port Canto at your arrival time, by car or helicopter?
• If you plan sea trials or broker meetings across several days, does the quote cover the extra days on the ground?
• If you are arriving from outside the Schengen area, where will passport and customs checks take place?
• What happens to the booking and any deposit if your plans change?
