Private jet charter operator and FBO at Punta del Este (SULS) and San Fernando, Buenos Aires
Flyzar Uruguay is the Punta del Este side of Flyzar, a private aviation company whose main base is San Fernando airport (SADF) near Buenos Aires, Argentina. In Uruguay, Flyzar runs an FBO at Laguna del Sauce airport (SULS/PDP), the airport that serves Punta del Este in Maldonado department.
Flyzar's website says it is an operator with its own fleet, not a broker. It sells on-demand private flights, empty-leg seats and a Jet Card program. At its San Fernando and Punta del Este FBOs, Flyzar says it offers handling, fuel, hangar space and private terminal services to visiting operators, crews and passengers. It also states that both airports have immigration and customs for international flights.
Aircraft shown on the Flyzar website include a Gulfstream V (LV-KLH), a Challenger 605 (LV-HQR) and a Bell 429 helicopter (LV-FKY). All three carry Argentine registrations. The site lists regular routes from San Fernando, including Punta del Este (about 44 minutes), Montevideo, other Argentine cities, Santiago de Chile, Brazilian cities and Miami.
Flyzar's website says it holds ARGUS Gold and BARS safety credentials. Flyers may want to confirm the current audit status directly with ARGUS and the Flight Safety Foundation before booking. An independent FBO directory lists an FBO under the Flyzar name at Punta del Este/Laguna del Sauce. An aviation trade directory lists Flyzar's locations as Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Punta del Este and San Fernando.
