Fractional ownership, jet card, charter and aircraft management from Kansas
Airshare is a US private aviation company founded in Wichita, Kansas, in 2000, originally as Executive Airshare. Its head office is now in the Kansas City area, with the company website giving an Overland Park, Kansas address. Wichita remains an important location for the company as its maintenance base, with a dedicated facility at Colonel James Jabara Airport.
The company's main product is fractional ownership, which it built around a days-based model. It also sells a jet card branded Embark, with a prepaid allocation that can be used over 24 months, and offers on-demand charter, aircraft management from acquisition through to operations, and in-house maintenance. Flights are operated by Executive Flight Services, LLC, which trades as Airshare, or by affiliated carriers.
Aircraft highlighted on its website include the Bombardier Challenger 3500 and Embraer Phenom 300 in the fractional programme, and the Bombardier Global 5000 among managed aircraft that can be chartered. Aviation press reported in 2025 that Airshare operates more than 100 aircraft, after it bought Wheels Up's aircraft management business in 2023. Investment firm Kompass Kapital took a controlling stake in 2024.
The website displays ARGUS, Wyvern and IS-BAO marks alongside NBAA, ACSF and IADA logos, though it does not spell out the rating levels. Flyers comparing programmes should ask for current audit details and the specific terms of the fractional and jet card products.
