ARGUS-certified U.S. private jet charter broker with jet card and group charter options
Stratos Jet Charters is a U.S. private jet charter broker founded in 2007. It works through a network of independently owned franchise agencies, which explains why listings show local offices such as this one in Westminster, Colorado. Its president is Joel Thomas.
The company states plainly that it does not own or operate aircraft. It arranges flights with third-party operators that hold their own air carrier certificates, sourcing aircraft from light jets to large cabin jets for each trip.
Besides one-off on-demand charter, Stratos sells the SOAR jet card, a fixed-rate pay-as-you-go programme launched in 2022, and a ClearSky membership option. It also arranges large group charters and markets empty-leg flights.
Stratos says it is an ARGUS Certified Broker, a status it reports earning in 2014 after an on-site audit, and that it vets aircraft, operators and crews against its own standards. The website also shows a Wyvern logo, but gives no detail of that relationship. Flights are arranged within the United States and internationally.
Flyers comparing brokers can ask which operator will fly a given trip and request that operator's safety audit reports before booking.
