Oakland County International (PTK) FBO run by Part 135 operator Premier Private Jets
PremierFBO PTK is the fixed-base operation at Oakland County International Airport (PTK) in Waterford Township, Michigan, north-west of Detroit. It belongs to Premier Private Jets, also known as Premier Aviation Services, which runs charter, FBO and maintenance businesses at several US airports.
Premier Private Jets entered the PTK market by buying Oakland Air, which at the time was an FBO, charter operator and repair station at the airport. Trade press reported that the deal raised Premier's charter fleet to 14 aircraft. The facility was first rebranded Premier Jet Services, and a later US$1.5 million renovation added a new lobby, a catering kitchen, a pilot lounge and offices. The PTK location was reported as the first in the region to stock sustainable aviation fuel permanently, starting in June 2021.
At PTK the FBO handles fuelling, aircraft parking, hangar space, passenger lounges and catering, and it is open to outside owners and operators. The parent company runs an owned jet fleet under FAA Part 135, sells one-off charter flights and jet cards, and operates a Part 145 maintenance business covering airframes, avionics, interiors and paint.
Other PremierFBO locations are listed at Dayton (DAY), where the maintenance hub is based, and Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky (CVG). The company also lists Stuart, Florida (SUA). Its website does not name its aircraft types or any third-party safety audits.
