Heli Chicago

Heli Chicago is a helicopter operator at Schaumburg Regional Airport, northwest of Chicago, Illinois. Its website says it is an FAA Part 135 certificated air carrier, which means it flies charters on its own certificate and is not a broker.

For private flyers, the main product is executive and VIP charter in a twin-engine Eurocopter AS355 Twin Star with five passenger seats. The company gives O'Hare to downtown Chicago as an example trip. A version of its site also lists Schaumburg to Lake Geneva.

The company also flies sightseeing tours over downtown Chicago and runs 'take the controls' experience flights. It does aerial filming and photography, plus inspection, wildlife survey and pipeline and power-line patrol work.

Its website lists a Hughes 500 (OH-6) alongside the AS355 and says it flies only turbine and twin-turbine helicopters. It describes itself as Chicago's longest-standing helicopter company but gives no founding year. Its claims about its safety record come from the company itself and have not been independently checked.
