Air Partner

Air Partner is an aviation services group founded in 1961, with its headquarters beside London Gatwick airport in the UK. Before 2022 it was listed on the London Stock Exchange and was described in trade press as the only publicly listed air charter broker.

In January 2022 Wheels Up agreed to buy the company for an enterprise value of about $107 million, and the deal closed at the end of March 2022. Reports at the time said Air Partner would keep its Gatwick headquarters and leadership, and that the acquisition gave Wheels Up its first international presence.

The company's core activities are private jet charter, group charter for larger passenger numbers, and freight charter. It has also offered aviation safety and security services. As a broker, it arranges flights with third-party aircraft operators rather than flying under its own operating certificate.
