Private air charter from Grand Rapids serving airports across southern Michigan
Aargus Air Charter is a private air charter company based in Grand Rapids, Michigan. According to its own history, the business started as Keys Air Charter in Key Largo, Florida in the late 1970s, moved to Denver under another name, and was later set up in Grand Rapids as Aargus Air Charter by its owner, Daniel Dunn.
The company provides on-demand charter flights for business and leisure travellers, and also handles time-critical air cargo flights from Grand Rapids and Detroit. Quotes are requested through an online form or by phone.
Its website lists a range of aircraft available for charter, from piston twins such as the Cessna 310, Cessna 414 and Piper Navajo, through turboprops such as the Beech King Air, Cessna Conquest and Saab 340, to jets including the Learjet 35, Falcon 20 and Embraer 135. The site does not state which of these are operated under its own certificate.
Aargus focuses on southern Michigan, naming Grand Rapids (GRR), Kalamazoo, Battle Creek, Holland, Lansing, Detroit, Jackson, Ann Arbor and Muskegon among the airports it serves, and says trips can depart from the airport nearest the client.
