Its website gives a single office address at 3300 Airport Road in Boca Raton, Florida; trade press has described it as Palm Beach-based. The listing's Plano, Texas location could not be confirmed.
The company arranges on-demand private jet charter, including short-notice and same-day requests, across several cabin sizes. Its website states that it is not a direct air carrier: flights are operated by FAA Part 135 carriers, or foreign equivalents, which keep operational control of each trip.
Bitlux is best known for accepting cryptocurrency. A February 2021 press release published by AviationPros said it had taken crypto payments since 2018, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash, alongside standard payment methods, and named Kyle Patel as chief executive. The same release reported that a majority of the flights it booked in early 2021 were paid in crypto, a company-supplied figure.
According to its website, Bitlux is an ARGUS-certified charter broker and nearly half of its flights are international. It does not own or list a fleet, so aircraft and operator details come with each quote.
