Part 135 charter arm of family-owned Cutter Aviation, based in Phoenix, Arizona
Cutter Flight Management is the aircraft charter business of Cutter Aviation, a family-owned aviation company with its main operations in Phoenix, Arizona. The Cutter business dates to 1928, when William P. Cutter started a flying service in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It expanded to Phoenix in 1959 and now also runs FBO, maintenance and aircraft sales businesses.
The charter department flies on-demand trips under Cutter's own FAA Part 135 certificate. Company material and a 2023 interview list Phoenix and the Dallas and Austin areas of Texas, including Addison and Georgetown, as its main charter hubs.
Recent operator directories and trade reports describe a fleet built mainly around the Pilatus PC-12 single-engine turboprop and the Pilatus PC-24 light jet. It also includes several HondaJet HA-420 light jets, a Cessna Citation Latitude midsize jet and a Learjet 60. The reported number of aircraft varies between about 10 and 13 depending on the source.
Because the fleet is mostly turboprops and light jets, it is suited to regional trips across the Southwest and Texas, with the Latitude and Learjet covering longer flights. Fleet and base details change, so flyers should confirm the aircraft and departure point when requesting a quote.
