Fixed base operator and maintenance at Niagara Falls International Airport (KIAG)
Calspan Air Services runs the fixed base operation (FBO) at Niagara Falls International Airport (KIAG) in western New York. Its terminal is at 9900 Porter Road in Niagara Falls, and the business is a subsidiary of Calspan Holdings.
The company is a ground services provider rather than a charter seller. Its website describes a renovated full-service FBO that is open around the clock, and independent airport listings note fuelling, de-icing, ground support and crew transport for business jets and charter flights, as well as handling for government and military aircraft and for airlines such as Spirit and Allegiant.
For maintenance, the FBO sits next to Calspan's FAA Part 145 repair station, which works on business, military and general aviation aircraft. The website also lists avionics work with Garmin, Avidyne and Collins Aerospace equipment.
The airport authority, the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority, first selected Calspan as FBO in 2013 and awarded it a new 10-year contract in 2019. Airport directories describe KIAG as close to the Canadian border and about 20 minutes from downtown Buffalo, with customs available on advance notice.
Flyers chartering into Niagara Falls through another broker or operator may use Calspan Air Services for handling, fuel and maintenance, but the company does not advertise charter flights of its own.
