Alta Jets is a private jet charter broker based in Newport Beach, California, led by founder and CEO Nicholas Disiena. A 2026 Private Jet Card Comparisons profile says he formed the company in 2020 after working for another broker, with the aim of serving the Orange County market. At that time the firm had three people.

Alta Jets does not operate aircraft. It arranges flights with third-party operators, from light jets to long-range aircraft. Its website lists airports it commonly uses in Orange County, Los Angeles, San Diego, South Florida, Orlando and the New York area, as well as in London, Paris and the French Riviera.

Its pricing process is unusual. Clients pay a fully refundable $500 deposit to receive a Detailed Estimate Report, which covers price ranges by aircraft class and, according to the website, safety ratings and insurance. If the client books, the deposit goes toward the trip cost; if not, it is refunded within 48 hours.

The company also offers a Deposit Program, which it presents as an alternative to a traditional jet card. According to Private Jet Card Comparisons, this program formalises the broker's markup at the greater of $1,500 or 8 percent. Empty-leg and shared flights are also listed on the website.

Private Jet Card Comparisons reports that most of the firm's business comes from referrals and word of mouth.
