Northern Jet

Northern Jet, long known as Northern Jet Management, is a business aviation company with Michigan roots. Its website says it has been active for more than thirty years. Aviation International News reported in March 2020 that the Michigan-based company had opened its first Florida base, in Naples, adding to several bases in the Midwest.

The company's website lists private jet charter, jet card programmes (including a heavy jet card on Challenger 600-series aircraft), fractional jet ownership, aircraft management and help with buying and selling aircraft. It also lists helicopter charter and empty-leg flights.

The website describes aircraft access across light, midsize, super-midsize and heavy jet categories, plus helicopters. Aviation directories describe Northern Jet as a Part 135 charter operator flying its own managed fleet rather than only arranging flights. Flyers should still ask whether a given trip is flown on the company's own certificate.

The website displays an ARGUS Platinum rating and memberships of the NBAA, the National Air Transportation Association, and the Central Florida and Chicago Area business aviation associations. Its Naples base reflects a focus on travel between the Midwest and Florida.
