North Carolina Part 135 jet charter operator and aircraft manager based at GSO
Causey Aviation Service is a North Carolina aviation company founded in 1967. Its main facility is at Piedmont Triad International Airport (GSO) in Greensboro. It also owns Causey Airport (NC74) in Liberty, which opened in 1963.
Causey flies charter under its own FAA Part 135 certificate. It says it owns the aircraft it flies and employs the crews, rather than arranging trips through other operators. Charter flights depart from GSO, Raleigh-Durham (RDU) and other airports in the Carolinas and Virginia. The website lists a Dassault Falcon 2000 and a Hawker 800XP in the charter fleet.
The company also manages aircraft for owners under Part 91 or Part 135, either as a full package or as individual services such as crewing, compliance and maintenance oversight. At GSO it offers hangar space, fuel and line service by arrangement to tenants, managed aircraft and charter clients. It is not a public FBO.
Causey describes itself as an ARGUS Gold rated Part 135 operator. One independent aggregator lists its FAA oversight office as the Greensboro FSDO. The company also runs a separate drone operation under its own Part 135 approvals.
