Pittsburgh-based charter operator and aircraft manager trading as AMG Jets
Aircraft Management Group, Inc. trades as AMG Jets and is headquartered at 300 Horizon Drive in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, next to Pittsburgh International Airport. A 2016 company release places it at the Atlantic Aviation FBO on the airport.
The company holds an air carrier certificate, received in 2009 according to that release, and adds managed aircraft to its charter certificate. Its website says it flies on-demand charter worldwide and can also source aircraft through a network of Part 135 operators when its own aircraft do not fit a trip, so flyers should confirm whether a quoted flight is on an AMG aircraft or a partner's.
The current website lists 14 aircraft: one Gulfstream G450, three Citation Latitude or Sovereign super-midsize jets, a Citation XLS+ and two Hawker 900XPs in the midsize class, and a Citation CJ3 with six Hawker 400XPs in the light jet class. The fleet has grown from six aircraft listed in 2016.
Beyond charter, AMG offers aircraft management covering maintenance and consulting, help with buying an aircraft from sourcing and inspection through financing and purchase, and concierge arrangements such as catering, ground transport and hotels.
The website refers to safety certifications without naming them, so audit ratings such as ARGUS or Wyvern should be confirmed directly with the company.
