Maverick Helicopters

Maverick Helicopters is a helicopter operator based in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is best known for sightseeing tours over the Las Vegas Strip and the Grand Canyon, and it also has operations in California and on Maui. Independent coverage names founders Greg and Brenda Rochna as the current owners.

Apart from tours, the company runs a private charter department. It offers one-way and round-trip flights and custom routes, with listed departure points such as Harry Reid International, Henderson Executive, Van Nuys, Santa Monica, Hollywood Burbank, John Wayne, San Diego and Kahului on Maui. It also lists group events and film or TV work.

The company says its fleet is close to 50 helicopters. These are mostly Airbus H130 (EC130) aircraft that seat seven, plus a smaller number of twin-engine Sikorsky S-76s that seat up to eight or nine. An independent report puts the count at about 52 Airbus helicopters and two S-76s.
