Jet Linx base at Houston Hobby (KHOU) for jet card members and aircraft owners
Jet Linx Houston is the local base of Jet Linx, a private aviation company that was founded in Omaha, Nebraska, in 1999. The Houston base opened in 2013 and works from a private terminal at 8501 Telephone Road, at William P. Hobby Airport (KHOU).
Jet Linx says its Houston base serves two main groups. Jet Card Members fly on the company's jet card programme. Aircraft owners can use its aircraft management service. The location page also lists joint ownership, consulting and an aircraft marketplace.
In October 2018, Jet Linx moved into a larger facility on the west side of Hobby. Its previous building had been destroyed by a downdraft in April that year. Trade press reported that the new site covers about 58,000 sq ft, including a private lounge, conference rooms and a hangar leased from Million Air. Jet card members and aircraft owners can drive onto the ramp to board planeside.
The Houston location page does not list fleet types or counts, and it does not mention safety audit ratings. Flyers comparing programmes should ask the base which aircraft are available to card members and how the base is certificated.
