Central Helicopter Services Inc

Central Helicopter Service, Inc. is a helicopter operator in Houston, Texas. Its website gives an address at 9000 Randolph Street and says it holds an FAA Part 135 on-demand air carrier certificate. The site says the company has served clients since the early 1990s, citing both 1992 and 1993.

Its charter work includes VIP and corporate transport, on-demand point-to-point flights, and offshore transport and crew changes. It also offers sightseeing and couples tours, flights for special events, aerial cinematography, and aerial inspections such as plant flare checks. The company runs flight instruction as well.

The company says it flies its own turbine helicopters and has an in-house maintenance department. The only model the website names is the Bell 206B3 JetRanger, which it uses for instruction. It does not publish fleet size or seating.

Flights are mainly in the Houston area and the Gulf Coast, including offshore crew-change work. Anyone booking passenger charter should ask which helicopter will be used, and its seating and baggage limits, since light single-engine types carry only a few passengers.
