Longhorn Helicopters

Longhorn Helicopters is a helicopter operator in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with an office on American Concourse at Fort Worth Meacham International Airport (KFTW). It describes itself as a charter and tour operator.

On-demand helicopter charter is available for point-to-point trips around the region, including private events. The company also runs sightseeing tours over Fort Worth, Dallas and Arlington landmarks on Friday and Saturday evenings. Flight training is offered through a linked school, the Helicopter Institute.

The company's website lists an operating certificate number. A third-party charter directory, seen only in search results, lists four helicopters: an AS350B2, a Bell 206B-3, a Bell 407 and a Bell 505. In 2022 Helicopter Association International announced a partnership with Longhorn to run charter flights to its HAI Heli-Expo show, according to a search-result summary.

Its main business is local tours and short regional charters, so it suits travellers looking for helicopter transfers within North Texas rather than longer trips.
