ARGUS-certified US private jet charter broker with on-demand, group and cargo flights
Stratos Jet Charters trades as Stratos Jets. It is a private jet charter broker in the United States. The company says it has served clients since 2007. An independent jet card comparison site says Joel Thomas founded it and serves as President and CEO, with headquarters in Orlando, Florida. This listing's address in Elizabeth, New Jersey has not been confirmed.
Stratos is a broker. It arranges flights with third-party operators and does not fly its own fleet. Its main service is on-demand charter. Its website also lists last-minute charter, large group charter, cargo jet charter, medical air transport, supplemental lift and empty leg flights.
Flyers who want to plan ahead can choose a jet card membership or a separate ClearSky membership program. An independent comparison site reported in 2022 that Stratos added a fixed-rate, pay-as-you-go jet card with rate locks of six or twelve months. Before that, the company only offered dynamic pricing.
Stratos describes itself as an ARGUS Certified Broker and says it has held that certification without a break since the program began. Its website also displays logos for Wyvern, the Air Charter Safety Foundation, NBAA and The Air Charter Association. The company describes its own process for checking operators, crews and aircraft before it suggests an option. It also markets a booking protection feature called FlightGuard.
Because Stratos is a broker, the aircraft and operator change from trip to trip. Flyers can ask which operator and certificate will fly a quoted trip before they book.
