Jones Aviation Group

Jones Aviation Group (JAG) is an aircraft brokerage headquartered in Dallas, Texas. The company states that it has supported private aviation clients for more than three decades, and it is led by President Cameron Jones according to an industry press release.

Its work centres on aircraft transactions. The firm describes two main lines of business: strategic acquisitions, covering market research, marketing and deal management for buyers, and brokerage services, where it negotiates on behalf of buyers and sellers. JAG does not present itself as a charter operator or management company, although it says its client base includes more than 25 FAA Part 135 charter operators.

In January 2024 the International Aircraft Dealers Association (IADA) added Jones Aviation Group to its list of accredited dealers. IADA accreditation is relevant for buyers because it involves vetting of the dealer by the association.

The company reports more than 250 completed transactions worth over $650 million in total, with clients in more than 25 countries. Aircraft shown on its website at the time of research included a Bombardier Challenger 600, a Beechcraft King Air B200 and a Gulfstream G100.

Owners considering a sale, or buyers looking for a pre-owned business aircraft, would deal with JAG as a broker that represents one side of the transaction rather than as an aircraft operator.
