Business Air, Inc. is a Texas charter company holding FAA Part 135 air carrier certificate BQTA581C, which a 2026 aviation press report says has been continuously active since February 1967. The same report describes the company as based in Austin and led by CEO Daniel Kearns.
The company relaunched retail charter service covering Austin, Houston, Dallas and San Antonio. Its model is to place jets owned by Texas corporations, which sit idle for much of the year, on its certificate and offer them for charter, with no membership fees or long-term commitments.
Through a Founding Fleet program, aircraft owners can add their jets to the Business Air certificate, keep priority access for their own trips and earn income from charter flying. The report gives Falcons, Challengers and Gulfstreams as examples of the types it expects owners to provide.
