Beacon Air Group is an aviation company working across the Mountain West. Its website lists a Cody, Wyoming address at Yellowstone Regional Airport (KCOD). Aviation press reports that its owner is Joel Simmons.
The company runs several lines of business. It offers aircraft charter with online quotes, aircraft ownership and management built around the Cessna CitationJet (C525), and hangar development, including hangar sales and leasing at regional airports.
Beacon opened its first FBO in Billings, Montana, in December 2023. A second followed at Yellowstone Regional Airport in Cody in summer 2025, in a renovated 3,000-square-foot building. Coverage of the Cody opening says the company has developed 14 hangars at KCOD.
Its website names Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and Idaho as service areas, citing airports such as Bozeman (BZN), Jackson Hole (JAC) and Denver Centennial (APA). The site does not say whether Beacon flies charter trips on its own operating certificate or arranges them with third-party operators. It also publishes no fleet list or safety audit ratings, so flyers may want to ask about both before booking.
