FBO network with charter flights, based at Cedar City, Utah (KCDC), plus TX, AZ and CA sites
GateOne, listed here as Gate One Aviation, is a fixed base operator (FBO) group. Its Cedar City facility is at Cedar City Regional Airport (KCDC), 2277 W. Kittyhawk, Utah. GateOne bought the Cedar City FBO, then trading as Sphere One Aviation, and held a grand opening there in April 2016. At that time aviation press called it the only FBO on the airfield.
The company also lists FBO locations at Stinson Municipal Airport (KSSF) in San Antonio, Texas, at Chandler Municipal Airport (KCHD) in Arizona and at Salinas Municipal Airport (KSNS) in California. GateOne belongs to the Avfuel network, and every location offers Avfuel Contract Fuel and AVTRIP rewards.
At Cedar City, the listed services include aviation fuel with self-serve fuel available 24/7, oxygen service, ramp and tiedown parking, a passenger terminal and lounge, quick turns, catering, rental cars and courtesy transport. The site also lists flight training, aircraft rental and maintenance for light single- and twin-engine aircraft. A 12,000 sq. ft. heated hangar is available for lease, and the company says it can take aircraft up to a Gulfstream G650.
GateOne's website says it offers charter flights, which are booked through its reservation and contact form. The site does not describe a charter fleet, aircraft types or an operating certificate. It is not clear whether GateOne flies charters on its own aircraft or arranges them with third-party operators, so flyers should ask who the operator is when they request a quote.
For most travellers passing through Cedar City, GateOne is mainly the ground-handling and fuel provider at KCDC. Its charter service is one of several additional services rather than the core business.
