MERLIN1 - Charter Jets Services

MERLIN1, also styled Merlin One, is a private jet charter company in Texas with hubs in San Antonio and Austin. It says it has been in business for 16 years.

The company states that it operates its own aircraft under an FAA Part 135 charter certificate rather than acting as a broker. It offers on-demand charter, a jet card membership and concierge help with ground transport, catering and similar requests.

According to its website, the fleet is made up of Cessna Citation 650-series midsize jets. Fleet details vary between sources: a 2020 WYVERN announcement listed a Merlin IIIB, a Learjet 35 and a Citation III, and a third-party operator directory shows a single Citation VI, so flyers should confirm which aircraft will fly their trip.

MERLIN1 says its two-pilot crews hold an ARGUS Gold rating and that it is an NBAA member. WYVERN announced in January 2020 that Merlin One had joined its Registered with WYVERN programme, which WYVERN notes is not a safety audit or certificate.
