Tampa Part 135 operator with charter, fractional shares, jet cards and management
FlyUSA is a private aviation company based in Tampa, Florida. Trade press describes it as a 2020 start-up that grew from on-demand charter into memberships, jet cards, fractional ownership and aircraft management. Its chief executive is Barry Shevlin.
According to a July 2026 report, the company had 26 aircraft under its umbrella, ten of them operated under its FAA Part 135 certificate, including five Pilatus PC-12s and two Citation CJ3+ jets. Other aircraft are accessed through its charter network, so flyers should confirm whether a quoted flight is on a FlyUSA-operated aircraft.
Its fractional program, launched in 2026 with the PC-12 and later extended to the CJ3+, uses a daily access fee in place of monthly management fees, with hubs listed at Tampa, Teterboro, Opa-locka, Dallas Love Field and Chicago Midway. A Falcon 2000LX was named as the next planned addition.
The website also lists a jet card, an Ascend Club membership, aircraft acquisitions support and a programme to help customers recover prepaid balances stranded with other providers. The company has acquired the Part 135 operator TRYP Air Charter and a maintenance business, and has said Texas is a focus for further acquisitions.
